We need you

Your leadership and support are essential in helping your team understand and use First Stop Health.

By championing virtual care, you contribute to a healthier, more engaged workforce while maximizing the impact of this benefit for your organization.

Your primary goals will be to: 

  • Share and distribute First Stop Health communications designed to increase participation and awareness along the way (emails, break room flyers, etc.). 
  • Take advantage of your First Stop Health benefit so you have firsthand knowledge of the value of our services. 

 

The first step in creating a great workplace culture is employee engagement. Your role is to actively advocate for the value of virtual care, and ensure its successful integration into your organization’s culture and strategy.

  • Share the company vision of health and wellbeing, and why it’s important.
  • Participate in annual strategy and health summary meetings. 
  • Be a role model by taking advantage of your First Stop Health benefit so you have firsthand knowledge of the value of our services. 
  • Celebrate and recognize successful initiatives and share success stories to inspire others. 
  • Empower your HR team to share eligibility information and choose great champions.

As the HR lead, you understand the challenges that your team is facing. Supported by us, you're the gatekeeper to the success of your health and wellbeing initiatives.

We want to help enhance your organization's culture without putting more demands on you or your team. We're here to support you with the resources you need, as well as with encouragement along the way.

Year-Round Support

  • Take advantage of virtual care and consider making your own healthy changes that can inspire your team. 
  • Encourage team members to celebrate the success of health wellbeing achievements. 
  • Assist in coordinating health and wellbeing initiatives throughout the year. 
  • Make sure that First Stop Health is included in your benefits talk track during open enrollment and throughout the year.

Implementation 

  • Participate in annual strategy meetings. 
  • Consider establishing a virtual care Champion at each location to help encourage usage of the benefit.
  • Provide eligibility files. 
  • Ensure First Stop Health is allow listed. 

For many organizations, having a virtual care Champion is an important part of driving First Stop Health participation.

We support Champions every step of the way with training, tools, and tips as they lead team members to happier, healthier lives.

Role and Responsibilities
